SYRACUSE, N.Y. - The Saint Michael's College softball team was swept in a Northeast-10 Conference doubleheader by Le Moyne College, 7-5 and 12-1 in five innings, on Saturday at the Le Moyne Softball Complex.

THE ACTION

  • Johns' two-run homer gave Saint Michael's a 2-0 lead in the first inning.
  • Bergdoll and Larobardiere knocked consecutive RBI doubles in the home half before Barrett's fielder's choice plated a third run, giving Le Moyne the edge.
  • Dybacz hit a two-run homer with two down in the second before Barrett's two-run double pushed the Dolphins lead to 7-2 in the fifth.
  • Devens cracked a two-out solo home run in the sixth before Hiscock doubled home a pair of runs, bringing Saint Michael's within 7-5.
