COLCHESTER, Vt. - The Saint Michael's College men's lacrosse team lost to No. 2 Adelphi University, 12-7, on Saturday in Northeast-10 Conference play at Duffy Field. The Purple Knights received votes toward this week's United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) national poll, while the Panthers were second in the USA Lacrosse Magazine rankings and third in the USILA poll. A 2022 NCAA Tournament qualifier, Adelphi entered the day as one of two unbeaten Division II squads, and among seven perfect teams in NCAA men's lacrosse.

- Collins scored 1:32 after the opening faceoff to put the Purple Knights ahead, but senior Matt Greaves responded with the tying marker at 11:41.
- Simonson countered 52 seconds later, and Sinibaldi pushed the lead to 3-1 with 7:19 remaining.
- Rebaudo, Hall and Duchnowski all scored in a 3-0 run, but Katavolos (10:05) and Chirgwin (7:04) wrapped tying goals around a Duchnowski strike during the second quarter, with Chirgwin's man-up marker creating a 5-5 deadlock.
- Duchnowski (5:43) and Hall (4:31) tallied 1:12 apart later in the frame to kick off a 7-0 run that extended into the final minute of the third period.
- Saint Michael's held Adelphi scoreless over the final 15:56, during which Simonson found the net at 5:26 of the fourth quarter and Katavolos potted a man-up marker with 54 seconds remaining. The shutout frame snapped the Panthers' streak of scoring in 27 consecutive periods, dating back to March 4.
