COLCHESTER, Vt. - Senior back
Christina Cummings (Queensbury, N.Y./Queensbury) scored a pair of first-half goals to send the regionally-ranked Saint Michael's College women's soccer team past Pace University, 2-1, on Saturday at Duffy Field during Northeast-10 Conference play. The Purple Knights, who were ninth in this week's United Soccer Coaches East Region poll, are off to their best start ever at 7-1-1.

- Kosiba nearly made it 3-0 in the 19th minute, but her bid was denied by Cole's diving stop.
- Dubois halved the deficit at 38:37, chipping Unnarsdóttir's cross into the upper left corner of the net.
