MANCHESTER, N.H. - The Saint Michael's College men's basketball team lost to Saint Anselm College, 81-57, on Wednesday evening during Northeast-10 Conference action in Stoutenburgh Gymnasium. The Purple Knights received votes toward this week's D2 CSC East Region poll.

THE ACTION
- Brzezinski hit a pair of go-ahead three-pointers in the opening 3:10 of the game as the teams exchanged four early leads. Marold's pair of free throws had them tied at 8-all by 15:24 of the first half.
- Three players scored as Saint Anselm netted the next seven points before Brzezinski (5) and Meeks (4) did all of their team's scoring in a tying 9-4 run that Meeks capped on a basket at 8:25 (21-21).
- Five Hawks scored during a 13-2 response, but the Purple Knights cut their deficit to six in the early portion of the second half on three occasions, including as Brzezinski knocked down a jumper at 12:37 (48-42).
- However, Morissette hit three free throws nine seconds later, and Saint Michael's never again trailed by fewer than seven points.
- Brzezinski's driving lay-up made it 55-46 at 10:38 before Saint Anselm's 12-3 run in a matter of 2:43 had the hosts up 67-49 by 6:36.
