• The Purple Knights broke the stalemate 7:01 into the contest, with Kantgias tallying from the mid-slot.
• With 15:55 gone, Paganini backhanded home a rebound at the right post during a power play after Plunkett denied first-year Matthew Frett's initial one-timer from the left circle.
• Saint Michael's went back in front with 18.6 seconds to go, as Kantgias' backdoor pass found McFarland open at the right post.
• The Purple Knights added to their lead with 54.8 ticks remaining in the second frame, as senior David Ciancio (Scituate, R.I./Seahawks Hockey Club) sent a shot off the end boards that Forselius stuffed in on the rebound.
• Winicki made it 4-1 only 50 seconds into the third period, finishing to Mastowski's blocker side after taking McFarland's backhanded cross-ice pass into the left circle.
• Lecomte made a nice move out front to deke the netminder with 14:28 left to finish a 2-on-1 with Baxter.
