• The Eagles scored with just 2:03 left in the first period when Powell tapped in the puck on the rebound in front of the crease to give the hosts a 1-0 lead.

• Wracker cut the lead in half on a wrist shot from the top of the right faceoff circle on assists from seniors Jack Bavis (West Roxbury, Mass./Valley Jr. Warriors) and David Ciancio (Scituate, R.I./Seahawks Hockey Club) at 2:55 in the third period.

• Tauriainen gave the Purple and Gold the lead at 9:06 after junior Jake Leale (Suffern, N.Y./Connecticut RoughRiders) stole the puck in the attacking zone and found Tauriainen on the left side of the crease to make the score 3-2.
• McFarland scored a shorthanded goal at 17:20 on assists from Bloom and Manahan to double the lead for the Purple Knights.
• The Eagles pulled their goalie for the final 1:03 of the contest but were unable to cut the lead down.
