THE ACTION

• The Sharks scored 2:55 into the first period when junior Lisa Schröfl took a slapshot from the blue line that found the bottom left corner of the net to give the hosts a 1-0 lead.
• With 18:54 gone in the frame, the Sharks doubled the lead when sophomore Grace Babington took a wrister in front of the net that found the upper right corner on assists from senior Bri Eid and Fairman.
• The Sharks scored two power-play goals in the second period to double the lead, and added another goal in the third period to pull away..
