• Howell put Post ahead 4:05 into the second period, taking a lead pass as a teammate left the penalty box and picking the far upper corner from the left circle.
• Bloom tied the game with 9:16 gone, tipping home senior Brennan McFarland's (Greeley, Colo./Northern Colorado Eagles) wrister from above the left circle during a power play.
• Bloom scored again just 1:50 later, one-timing junior Quinn McCarthy's (Melrose, Mass./Holderness School) pass into the slot.
• Kimball tallied 55 seconds into the third period to again draw the teams even.
• In overtime, Plunkett made five saves between 1:15 and 2:45 alone to keep Post off the board, and the Purple Knights earned a 4-on-3 power play with 44 seconds to go. With only 14 ticks remaining, Ciancio put home a slap shot from the left circle for the game-winning tally.
