COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College men's swimming & diving senior
Trevor Johnson (Salem, Mass./Salem) was introduced as Northeast-10 Conference Elite 24 Award winner on Sunday during the NE10 Championship at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in Worcester, Mass. The Elite 24 Award honors student-athletes with the highest cumulative grade-point average participating at a finals site.

Johnson brings the number of Saint Michael's Elite 24 Award winners to five since the laurel was established for the 2018-19 school year, and three this school year alone. Cross country seniors
Katie Culliton and
Swapnil Jhajharia swept the accolades at their NE10 Championship last fall. Women's lacrosse's
Ashley Turner '21 (2020) and men's ice hockey's
David Ciancio '25 (2022-23) have also won the award.

Johnson holds a 3.98 GPA while majoring in health science and double minoring in French and chemistry. He has turned in 17 top-five performances this winter and carries five career victories. As a junior, Johnson was named NE10 Academic All-Conference and College Sports Communicators Academic All-District. He landed a pair of Division 2 Athletics Directors Association (D2 ADA) Academic Achievement Awards and earned NE10 Academic Honor Roll accolades in six of his first seven semesters, studying abroad in the other term.
