- Neither squad led by more than two points in the opening quarter as the two teams played through three ties and six lead changes. Ten of the first 16 points came from shots at the charity stripe.
- Amber Furch knocked down a layup with four seconds remaining in the first quarter to give Saint Michael's a 11-10 lead, and her layup at 9:36 of the second quarter made it a three-point contest.
- Blake's layup at 2:05 sparked a 5-0 stretch that broke a tie, and the visitors led 26-23 heading into halftime. Â
- Three different Purple Knights scored in a 6-0 run to give them a 34-27 lead by 6:48 of the third quarter.
- The Panthers went on a 11-0 run that began with Jordan's layup at 6:23 and finished with her jumper with 35 seconds left to give Adelphi a 38-34 lead.
- Adelphi grabbed a five-point lead three times in the opening 3:03 of the fourth quarter before Blake's second basket in a 1:08 span cut the deficit to 45-42 at 6:06, but the Panthers countered with six unanswered points.
- Saint Michael's went on a 7-0 run, with Blake's basket at 59 seconds creating the first of two two-point deficits in the final minute. Amber Furch's layup with 20 seconds remaining cut the Adelphi lead to 53-51.
- Sanchez iced the win for the Panthers with two made free throws with 10 seconds left.
