CORTLAND, N.Y. - The Saint Michael's College men's lacrosse team lost to Roberts Wesleyan University, 15-11, on Sunday at Cortland High School. The Purple and Gold was tied for fourth in the latest New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) poll.

THE ACTION

• Doviak tallied twice as the Redhawks netted the game's first six goals by 12:46 of the second stanza
• The Purple Knights countered with a 6-1 run, led by Chirgwin scoring three times in that stretch, including once apiece at even strength, man-up and man-down. He added an assist. Chirgwin's strike at 12:32 of the third period made it 7-6, and his fourth goal with 5:37 left again brought Saint Michael's within one, at 8-7.
• Roberts Wesleyan secured the victory with six of the next seven goals, as six different players scored to push the lead to 14-8 by 8:24 of the fourth quarter.
• Sinibaldi's hat trick all came in a game-ending 3-1 run over the final 4:38.
