Meghan Connor (Saint Albans, Vt./BFA-Saint Albans/Endicott) homered in each end of a Northeast-10 Conference twinbill, and the Purple Knights split Franklin Pierce University at the Bisaccia Softball Complex. The visitors won game two, 11-6, after losing 8-5 in the opener.

DOUBLEHEADER FACTS
- Devens launched her 20th career home run to match Saint Michael's Athletic Hall of Famer Noelle Gill's '05 19-year-old school record. She also tied Gill for fourth in hits (120) on Tuesday while passing Hall of Famer Ashley Harkins '09 (71) for third in RBI by upping her total to 73.
- Connor also reached 20 career home runs, with 11 coming at Saint Michael's, good for a move into seventh in program annals.

THE ACTION
- After the first two batters were retired in the third inning, Devens came through with an RBI single before junior Riley Sroczinski (Raynham, Mass./Bridgewater-Raynham Regional) walked with the bases loaded to make it 2-0.
