Women's Lacrosse Bolstered by 10 Goal Scorers, Defeats Felician in First Meeting

RUTHERFORD, N.J. - Ten players scored as the Saint Michael's College women's lacrosse team defeated Felician University, 19-7, on Saturday at Tryon Field.

THE ACTION
  • MacDonald (14:03) and Conover (13:20) scored 43 seconds apart to give the Purple Knights a 2-0 edge after just 1:40, and Murphy's woman-down goal with five seconds to go in the opening quarter made it 7-0. Drislane had two goals and two assists in the first period.
  • After Ravazza scored at 13:42 of the second frame, nine of the next 10 goals were potted by Purple Knights, with six players finding the net.
  • Whitley, a starting defender, turned in her first two career points during a 3-0 spurt in the fourth quarter.
