Women's Lacrosse Loses Evening Affair to No. 18 Bentley

COLCHESTER, Vt. - The Saint Michael's College women's lacrosse team lost to 18th-ranked Bentley University, 19-6, on Wednesday evening during Northeast-10 Conference action at Duffy Field. The Falcons' national ranking is according to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA).

THE ACTION
  • Davis netted a hat trick and Dermody scored a pair of woman-up markers as Bentley led 7-0 by the time 5:26 remained in the first quarter.
  • Saint Michael's returned from a timeout with three of the next four goals, with Lynch striking at 4:51 before Murphy tallied a pair to make it 8-3 at 14:16 of the second quarter.
  • However, Davis scored the next two goals to kick off a 5-0 spurt, and the visitors never again led by fewer than nine goals.
