Andrews' Goal Delivers Men's Soccer Season-Opening 1-0 Victory

COLCHESTER, Vt. - Junior Jack Andrews (Beverly, Mass./Bishop Fenwick) scored in the 19th minute to lift the Saint Michael's College men's soccer team to a season-opening 1-0 win over Georgian Court University at Duffy Field on Thursday. The contest capped day one of the Northeast-10 Conference/Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Kickoff Classic. Bentley University defeated Caldwell University, 2-1, in the opener.

  • Andrews nearly double the lead in the 76th minute, but senior midfielder Woodley Cagilus blocked his shot at an otherwise open net.
