GAME FACTS
  • Twelve of the past 14 meetings between the teams have now been decided by two goals or less.
  • Cameron became the fourth goalkeeper in NCAA Division II history with 300 saves in a season, pushing her total to 312 this fall. She is 16 short of the NE10 record and 29 shy of the national mark.
  • Cameron moved into 12th in NE10 history with 487 career saves, vaulting Assumption University's Kristyn Bonnyman.
THE ACTION
  • Cameron made a pair of sliding saves of Caputo near the right post in the 12th minute before batting away Wanders' blast from the top of the circle with her left blocker in the 21st minute.
  • After a scoreless opening half, the Purple Knights nearly went ahead first, but first-year Sam DeGeorge's (Saco, Maine/Cheverus) one-timer near the right post in the 33rd minute was denied by Noorlag.
  • Wanders struck for the game's first goal early in the fourth quarter, backhanding an aerial shot just inside the left post in the 48th minute.
  • DeGeorge had a dangerous bid less than a minute later turned away, as her quick turn in the circle was rejected by Noorlag's left pad.
  • Midway through the 50th minute, Depew picked up a defensive save, but an infraction led to the Purple Knights being awarded a penalty stroke. Harrington buried the shot beyond a diving Noorlag to tie the game.
  • Cameron ensured overtime with three straight saves early in the 58th minute, first stopping Wanders' redirection with her hands while on the ground before turning away sophomore Abigail Tarka with a follow-up stick save. She added a save of Caputo to complete the sequence.
  • In the extra session, Cameron recorded back-to-back saves in the 62nd minute to keep the teams level.
  • In the 67th minute, Caputo scored during a corner sequence at the right post following a couple redirections between the entry and final shot. Senior Delaney Condon earned the assist.
