FAST FACTS
As the No. 2 seed, the Purple Knights defeated No. 1 Saint Anselm College, 5-1, on March 1 for their seventh NE10 postseason championship. Players who scored three goals and handed out four assists in that game return, as does sophomore goalie Evan Plunkett (Charlotte, N.C./Holderness School), who landed NE10 All-Conference second team honors after tying the program's career record with four shutouts last season alone ... the Purple and Gold's 18 wins were two short of the 1997-98 team's program record ... Saint Michael's led the NE10 in goals-against average (2.40) and save percentage (.929), shattering school records in both ... the Purple Knights enter 2025-26 under new leadership for the first time since 2012-13, as head coach Jack Fitzgerald succeeds Damian DiGiulian, who retired following a 13-year tenure that featured six NE10 Championship title game appearances.
