COLCHESTER, Vt. - The Saint Michael's College men's and women's basketball teams each visit Division I University of Vermont for exhibition games in the next week, and both are partnering with the Best Western Plus Windjammer Inn in South Burlington to benefit the South Burlington Food Shelf through a food drive on those game days. The Best Western Plus Windjammer Inn is the preferred hotel of Saint Michael's Athletics.
 
The men head to UVM on Saturday for a 7 p.m. contest before the women visit Patrick Gymnasium next Thursday at 6 p.m. Fans who make a food or monetary donation toward the South Burlington Food Shelf will be entered into a drawing to win a $50 Windjammer gift card. For those wishing to make a food donation, the Windjammer suggests items such as canned soup, chili or fruit; peanut butter; boxed meals; pasta; pantry staples; formula; and diapers.
 
Members of the College community can also grab discounted tickets when they arrive at Patrick Gymnasium for both games. Students and staff with a valid Saint Michael's ID pay $8 at the women's game and $10 for the men's contest.
