COLCHESTER, Vt. - The Saint Michael's College field hockey team wrapped up its 2025 season with a 5-0 Northeast 10 Conference loss to Adelphi University during Senior Day on Saturday at Duffy Field. The Panthers were among five teams under consideration for the NCAA's first East Region rankings this week.

GAME FACTS
- Cameron finished the season with an NCAA Division II-record 429 saves, good for fourth in the annals of NCAA field hockey across all three divisions. She was only two shy of Wittenberg University's Jeanette Baier for third place while registering the most saves since Earlham College's Kelly Cochran set the standard of 490 in 1997.
- Cameron became the 10th netminder in NE10 history with 600 career saves (604), and the first since Southern Connecticut State University 2020 graduate Brianna Craft.
- Cameron finished tied for ninth in program history in career save percentage (.830), tying Melanie Pizzini '82. She is the only Purple Knight who played in the last 20 years to crack the top 10.
THE ACTION
- Cameron made 15 saves during a shutout opening period before de Wet's blast from the edge of the circle during a penalty corner set in the 26th minute broke the deadlock. The 1-0 score stood at halftime.
- Cameron maintained the score in the 32nd minute with a stick save near the left post of senior Kelly Johnson's high backhanded shot.
- De Wet and Geels scored 58 seconds apart later in the frame, including as Geels collected a rebound of her own saved shot to make it 3-0 at 36:59.
- Cameron posted a sliding stop of Johnson's bid in the 40th minute.
- Souke tapped home a backdoor pass with two seconds to go before de Wet completed her hat trick by pushing home a rebound after Cameron made a toe save of her initial bid in the 48th minute.
