FRANCONIA, N.H. - A pair of Saint Michael's College Alpine skiers finished among the top 15 in Saturday's slalom during the University of New Hampshire Carnival at Cannon Mountain Ski Area. The event triples as the Eastern Intercollegiate Ski Association (EISA) Championship and the NCAA East Regional Championship.
 
CARNIVAL FACTS

• For the carnival, the Purple Knight Alpine teams combined for 242 points, good for seventh place, within four points of sixth.
• Between the Alpine and Nordic teams, Saint Michael's finished the weekend sixth among 14 schools (499), matching its highest placement at an EISA Championship in the league's modern era, since 1994. Saint Michael's was also sixth in 2022 and 2023. The College trailed fifth-place Colby College by only 1.5 points.
• Dartmouth won the carnival with 982 points.
