• Saint Anselm took a two-goal lead in the first period, with Alberti scoring a power-play goal at 11:27 and Brackett netting the second goal with 19 seconds left in the period.
• Burum netted the third goal of the day for the Hawks 1:55 into the second period to make the score 3-0.
• Wracker scored the first goal for the Purple Knights at 12:13 on the power play.
• Naumann cut the lead down to one with under a minute left in the second period at 19:24 on a shot in front of the crease to make it 3-2 in favor of the hosts.
• The Hawks scored the first two goals of the third period, with Armstrong tallying at 7:41 and Van der Veen scoring at 11:18 making the score 5-2.
• Kantgias scored his second goal of the weekend at 14:43 on a wrist shot from the right faceoff circle to make the score 5-3.
