Women’s Lacrosse Downed by 22nd-Ranked New Haven

WEST HAVEN, Conn. – The Saint Michael's College women's lacrosse team lost to No. 22 University of New Haven, 12-2, on Saturday during Northeast-10 Conference play at Kathy Zolad Stadium. The Chargers' national ranking is according to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA). New Haven made it to the first round of the 2024 NCAA Tournament.

  • New Haven tallied eight of the first nine goals during the opening half, with Hamilton scoring the lone goal for the Purple Knights in the first quarter at 6:32.
  • The Chargers added three more goals before Lynch scored on a woman-up opportunity at 4:57 in the fourth quarter. New Haven scored once more with 3:45 left in the game.
