VIERA WEST, Fla. - The Saint Michael's College softball team split a pair of decisions on Tuesday during the Space Coast Spring Games at the USSSA Space Coast Complex. The Purple Knights defeated Indiana University South Bend, 8-3, before losing to the University of Northwestern Ohio, 10-3.

DOUBLEHEADER FACTS
- Senior Jenna Devens (Parsippany, N.J./Parsippany) cracked her school-record 32nd career double in game one, snapping a tie with Megan O'Connor '09 atop the program's leader board. Devens added her 33rd double in the nightcap. With her 60th walk in the opener, she is one shy of Casey Brooks' '07 program mark.
- First-year Andrea DiMauro (South Portland, Maine/South Portland) picked up her first college hit in the opener.

- Yarnell's first-inning RBI double was met by Devens' tying RBI single in the home half.
- A two-out error provided the Titans a 2-1, third-inning lead before Devens and Morey knocked RBI doubles in the bottom half to put the Purple Knights up to stay.
- Saint Michael's scored four unearned runs with two down in the fourth, capped by consecutive RBI singles from first-year Maddy Booska (Burlington, Vt./Colchester) and Morey.
- Indiana South Bend scored an unearned run in the fifth, but first-year Emma Nordahl's (Holden, Mass./Saint Paul Diocesan Junior-Senior) two-out single through the right side plated Booska in the sixth.
