Women's Lacrosse Defeated by Seventh-Ranked Pace

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. - The Saint Michael's College women's lacrosse team lost at No. 7 Pace University, 17-4, on Saturday during Northeast-10 Conference play in Northwell Stadium. The Setters' national ranking is according to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA).

THE ACTION
  • Carita had a goal and two assists to key Pace's five-goal spurt in a matter of 4:05 that provided the hosts a 5-0 lead by 7:02 of the first quarter.
  • Conover scored twice during a 2-1 counter before the Setters tallied a trio in a 1:12 stretch to make it 9-2 at 5:07 of the second.
  • Hamilton and Conover both struck in a 2-1 run before Pace netted the game's final seven goals.
