COLCHESTER, Vt. - The Saint Michael's College softball team downed Assumption University, 3-1, during the opener of a Northeast-10 Conference doubleheader on Friday at Doc Jacobs Field. The Greyhounds took the nightcap, 4-0.

THE ACTION
- Cahill walked with two out in the third inning, stole second, and then stole third before coming home on an error for the game's first run.
- With two down in the fourth, an outfield error brought home the Purple Knights' tying run, and Edgerly followed with an infield RBI single to plate the go-ahead run.
- Devens knocked a two-out RBI single up in the middle to score an insurance run in the sixth inning.
- Heim doubled with one out in the seventh but moved no further.
