Baseball Ends Season with Loss at Nationally-Regarded Bentley

WALTHAM, Mass. - The Saint Michael's College baseball team lost to nationally-regarded Bentley University, 22-1, during its season finale in Northeast-10 Conference play on Saturday at Robert DeFelice Baseball Field. The Falcons, who earned votes toward a pair of national polls this week, were third in the latest NCAA East Region poll as the top-ranked NE10 squad in the standings.

  • With 53 hits this season, junior Sam Cavossa (East Falmouth, Mass./The Winchendon School) came within three of Matt Beaulieu's '10 16-year-old program record. Cavossa's hit total is the highest for a season during his team's NE10 era (1990-98, 2012-now).
