Iago Lopez (Ithaca, N.Y./Ithaca) lifted the Saint Michael's College men's soccer team to a season-opening 2-0 win at Georgian Court University on Thursday at the GCU Track & Field Complex during the Northeast 10 Conference/Central Atlantic Collegiate Conference (CACC) Kickoff Classic.

- Smith made his lone save in the 80th minute, knocking down first-year Sander Rynning's bid from the edge of the box.
- Saint Michael's padded its lead late in the 89th minute. While possessing near the corner to maintain the one-goal edge, Riby-Williams broke through two defenders along the endline and found Lopez, whose one-touch curled into the left side of the net.
