Scarlett Brookes' (Rockaway, N.J./Morris Knolls) second straight two-goal game sent the Purple Knights past Post University, 3-0, on Sunday at LaMoy Field. Saint Michael's is unbeaten through three games for the third straight season.

- Brookes became the first Purple Knight with consecutive multi-goal games since Suzanne Fontas '04 netted five goals between Aug. 31 and Sept. 1, 2002. Brookes has five goals, scoring in each game this fall.
- Senior Bella DelVecchio (Saugus, Mass./Bishop Fenwick) also has a point in every game, picking up her second assist to go along with a goal.
- Saint Michael's moved to 4-0 in the all-time series, with three contests occurring at Post.

THE ACTION
- Brookes scored her team's opening goal for the third time in as many contests this year during the 26th minute, forcing a giveaway at midfield before carrying past the defense and to the edge of the box, where she switched feet and slid a shot inside the right post.
- Saint Michael's doubled its lead only 49 seconds after halftime, when Brookes touched home sophomore Delaney Kleinman's (Center Moriches, N.Y./Center Moriches) cross from the far sideline over the rushing goalkeeper. DelVecchio also assisted, as the goal was the Purple Knights' fourth in a row scored by Brookes.
- In the 84th minute, Havrda put home first-year Adney Brannigan's (Nantucket, Mass./Nantucket) end-line cross. Senior Kayleigh Crowell (Beverly, Mass./Beverly) kickstarted the opportunity with a through ball to the left flank.
