WORCESTER, Mass. - The Saint Michael's College men's ice hockey team lost to first-place Assumption University, 4-1, on Saturday during Northeast 10 Conference action at the Worcester Ice Center. The Purple Knights remain in second place by one point over Saint Anselm College with six regular-season games remaining. The Greyhounds extended their unbeaten streak to 10 games (9-0-1) while winning their seventh straight game.

THE ACTION
- Tuite struck for the opening goal at 12:29 of the first period, redirecting Sacco's pass from behind the net out front. Naumann also assisted, keeping the puck in the zone at the blue line.
- Surrette tied the game with 16 seconds left in the frame, going glove side from the slot after a fortunate bounce found him.
- Surrette buried a slap shot from the right circle during a 5-on-3 power play 3:34 into the second period.
- Russell added a man-up marker at 13:58 of the third period, tapping home Surrette's pass from behind the net.
- With Manahan pulled for an extra skater, Surrette finished his hat trick at 17:50, scoring from just inside the blue line.
