- Senior Bennett Yeboah (Manchester, Conn./CREC Civic Leadership/Saint Francis [Pa.]) had both of his team's shots on goal in the opening half, with his first in the 12th kicked away by a sliding Martinez after Yeboah got behind the back line and had only the netminder to beat at the top of the box. His second bid, in the 33rd minute, came under pressure from the final AIC defender and forced Martinez to leap and catch a shot from the edge of the box.
- Busnel, who started the game on the bench, put the contest away with a natural hat trick in a matter of 2:18 early in the second half. He touched home a left-footed shot at 50:29, one-touched Smith's cross into the box at 52:03, and headed graduate student Marco Cabrera's cross just 44 seconds after that.
