THE ACTION

• King put the Ravens in front with a solo effort, carrying through the right circle and finishing up close five-hole at 15:12. Murphy doubled the lead 2:02 later, roofing a shot after taking the right circle.
• The Purple Knights responded less than two minutes later, as Jerylo slipped a shot off a Raven defender from the left circle during a power play at 19:08. FitzGibbon and Richter lent helpers.
• DeMarinis went post-to-post to reject sophomore Shayna Parry with her left pad at 9:56 of the second period.
• Wright reestablished the two-goal cushion at 12:11, batting in a loose puck at the right post.
• Saint Michael's again responded quickly, as Scinocca one-timed Louder's pass from behind the net at 14:06. Richter again provided the secondary helper.
• DeMarinis maintained the one-goal margin 3:47 into the third period, moving to the right post to stop Murphy's bid before saving senior Anna Caumo's follow-up bid. The netminder later stoned Witmer's chance out front with 12:23 gone.
• With DeMarinis pulled for an extra skater, Witmer's pass up the boards sprung Levinson for a breakaway strike with 47.8 seconds remaining.
