THE ACTION

  • In a 2-1 game, Plunkett held the left post with his pad to deny sophomore Linas Dedinas' shorthanded breakaway bid at 14:31.
  • Sullivan buried a one-timer with 15:15 gone to reestablish the two-goal lead.
  • The Purple Knights again drew within a goal at 17:06, with Wright finishing on a power play near the left post after Parouse's pass from the point was redirected between the legs by Toute from out front.
  • Albertus Magnus iced the game with two third-period goals. Dann picked Plunkett's blocker shoulder from the right circle during a 5-on-3 power play 45 seconds in before Martin put home his own rebound at 6:05.
