  • Southern Connecticut State scored on consecutive shots late in the half. Norret carried the last half of the field herself before slipping a shot past Laizer in the middle of the box during the 34th minute.
  • Only 3:32 later, LaPerle scored off of sophomore Ryleigh Phillips' corner kick entry.
  • Saint Michael's took the only seven shots attempted during the second half, and Follansbee found the equalizer in the 81st minute. After a failed clear was headed down to her feet, Follansbee turned and found the net from the top of the box.
  • In the 89th minute, junior Sarah Gormley's (East Moriches, N.Y./Westhampton Beach) blast from the left flank forced Pastreck to punch the ball over the crossbar, but the hosts got no shots from the ensuing corner kick.
