THE ACTION
- Late in the 12th minute, fifth-year Inigo Burusco drilled a header off the crossbar, and classmate Miguel Gimeno scuffed a follow-up shot to Torres.
- Torres turned away another Burusco bid in the 25th minute, a blast from the left flank, before again stopping a shot off the foot of Burusco only seconds later.
- Castro struck for the winner in the 32nd minute, using the outside of his right foot to touch home Bujanda's corner kick service.
- Castro doubled the lead in the 40th minute, picking the upper left corner from 30 yards away on a free kick.
- Torres maintained the 2-0 deficit in the 42nd minute, diving to reject senior Alex Pons' shot from outside the box before also turning away Kraft's point-blank try on the rebound.
- Pons sent a cross in the 66th minute that Bujanda slowed down with a touch that Fandunyan ran onto and finished for his team's third goal of the night.
- Sophomore back Liam Weldon (Essex, Vt./Shattuck-Saint Mary's School) prevented further damage soon thereafter, blocking Fandunyan's shot that got just beyond a sprawling Uecker's reach with his chest at the goal line before also denying Gimeno's second effort on an open net mere seconds later.
- Kraft put home his team's final goal in the 84th minute, striking the far side of the net from the right side of the box.
