THE ACTION
- Hamilton scored twice during a game-opening 3-1 run, but Molloy countered with a tying 3-1 stretch of its own, drawing level on Zamora's strike at 11:42 of the second period.
- Conover posted a goal and an assist as Saint Michael's scored the next three goals, going ahead 7-4 on her tally at 10:45 of the third.
- Three Lions scored in a 3-0 response, as the visitors tied the game on Cossaro's goal with 5:47 left in the third.
- Hamilton put the Purple Knights ahead to stay by converting a woman-up strike just 1:25 later thanks to Doherty's feed. Peddie and Adams added goals during the key 3-1 run that provided Saint Michael's a 10-8 lead by 12:15 of the fourth.
- Cossaro (10:23) and Adams (4:20) later traded goals, and Lynch forced a turnover in the final minute that Conover recovered and the hosts wound out the clock.
