THE ACTION

  • Adams scored the first two goals in a tying 3-0 run, and neither team led again by more than one goal until the fourth stanza.
  • McIlroy's tally at 9:20 of the final frame finished off a 3-0 spurt that provided the visitors an 11-9 lead, but Peddie (6:25) and Lynch (5:09) scored 1:16 apart to level the score.
  • Hannes struck for the go-ahead marker at 1:16 before Saint Michael's won the ensuing draw. Godwin made a standout save of Conover's bid with 24 seconds to go, but a turnover provided the hosts the ball and a free-position attempt at six seconds.
