Zeke Peraza (Los Angeles, Calif./Saint Francis) was named Northeast 10 Conference Rookie of the Week for the week ending on Sunday, April 19.

Peraza tallied five goals, one assist and five ground balls during a 2-0 week. He potted a hat trick with two ground balls in a 15-7 win versus Franklin Pierce University on Tuesday before notching two goals, an assist, three ground balls and one caused turnover during a 13-9 victory over No. 20 Bentley University on Saturday. He is third on the team in goals (16) and points (24) out of the midfield while adding 29 ground balls, fifth on the squad.

Now 19th in the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) national poll, the Purple Knights are 9-4 and will hold down the No. 5 seed in the upcoming NE10 Championship. They visit fourth-seeded Assumption University, the 16th-ranked team in the nation, for a first-round contest on Saturday.
