Aby Amigo (Essex, Mass./Pingree School) landed NE10 Goalkeeper of the Week for the week ending on Sunday, April 19.

Barbato posted 10 ground balls and 10 caused turnovers while aiding a defense that recorded a 6.00 goals-against average during a 2-0 week. She notched four caused turnovers and three ground balls in a 14-9 win at Franklin Pierce University on Wednesday before adding seven ground balls and six caused turnovers - matching the most by an NE10 player over the past two seasons - in a 17-3 win at American International College on Saturday. Barbato leads the NE10 in ground balls (37) and is fourth in caused turnovers (26).

Amigo recorded a 6.00 GAA, .613 save percentage and 9.5 saves per game during a 2-0 week. She made 10 stops with two ground balls in the 14-9 win at Franklin Pierce before totaling nine saves and one ground ball in the 17-3 win at AIC. Amigo is third in the NE10 in saves per game (9.8) and fourth in save percentage (.455). Her 156 saves are tied for eighth in program history with
Heather Ahearn '93 (1992), whose program rookie record Amigo has tied. On Saturday, Amigo broke
Jess Anderson's '05 first-year mark (150), set in 2002.

The Purple Knights, who have won three of four, need a win over visiting Bentley University during their regular-season finale on Tuesday at 3 p.m. to qualify for the seven-team NE10 Championship. They enter that contest 5-11 overall and 3-5 in NE10 play.
