HOOKSETT, N.H. - The Saint Michael's College baseball team lost a pair of close decisions at 22nd-ranked Southern New Hampshire University, 6-4 and 6-2 in seven innings, during a Northeast 10 Conference doubleheader on Saturday at Penmen Field. The Penmen's national ranking is according to the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA).

THE ACTION
- Graduate student Shane McNamara's two-out RBI double capped a two-run opening frame for the Penmen, but Weber launched a two-out, two-run homer to tie the game in the second.
- Pisano scored an unearned run in the third to put the hosts up for good, and Cumiskey added a solo homer in the sixth.
- Guzman sent a two-out RBI knock back through the box in the seventh to make it 4-3, but Pisano scored another unearned run on junior Joel Valera's sac fly in the home half.
- Junior River Hart led off the eighth with a home run.
- Guzman knocked a sac fly in the ninth to bring Saint Michael's within 6-4, but a pair were left stranded to end the game.

THE ACTION
- Pisano's two-run double broke a scoreless deadlock in the first inning before Arsenault halved the deficit with an RBI single in the second.
- Pisano drove in two more with a single in the third, and McNamara's sac fly pushed the lead to 5-1 in the fifth.
- Arsenault drove in a run on a fielder's choice in the sixth, but senior JR Bozek got the run back with an RBI knock in the home half.
