COLCHESTER, Vt. - Three Saint Michael's College women's lacrosse players qualified for the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Roll for the 2025-26 school year. The Purple Knights were also among 58 teams named an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad.
 
May graduates Ellie Drinkwater (North Kingstown, R.I./North Kingstown) and Abbie Whitley (Londonderry, N.H./Londonderry) and rising senior Layne Doherty (Belmont, Mass./Belmont) all landed on the IWLCA Academic Honor Roll, which recognizes juniors, seniors and graduate students holding a minimum 3.50 cumulative grade-point average. Drinkwater and Whitley were repeat winners, as the trio was among 67 honorees from the Northeast 10 Conference.
 
Saint Michael's was recognized as an IWLCA Academic Honor Squad, which lauds programs that post a minimum 3.2 GPA during the prior school year. Seven NE10 teams earned the praise.
