COLCHESTER, Vt. - Saint Michael's College women's cross country junior Jersey Miller (Minneapolis, Minn./Saint Louis Park) placed third on Saturday as the men's and women's cross country programs hosted the fifth annual Equality Invitational, unique 8K races for all genders. Held on campus, Saint Michael's hosted what is believed to be the only 8K for women in NCAA cross country.
 
TEAM RESULTS

• Both Purple Knight teams placed second in a four-team field, trailing only Division I University of Vermont. The women notched 39 points to the Catamounts' 20, while the men had 45 against UVM's 16.
• The Purple Knight men were ninth in the latest U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) East Region poll, while the women stood 10th.
