Since 2010, Neidlinger has been owner and director of baseball operations for the Bases Loaded Baseball & Softball Academy in Williston, with the facility named among the top 25 baseball academies in the country in 2017. He has also been a head coach with the Bases Loaded Bulldogs travel organization, which fields six teams, since 2016. Through his academy and travel teams, Neidlinger works with players of various ages and skill levels, supervises nearly a dozen instructors, recruits players and hires coaches, and plays a hand in aiding players' college recruitment.

A righthanded pitcher, Neidlinger played 11 seasons of professional baseball, debuting in 1984 before reaching Triple-A as soon as two years later, when he was a combined 14-8 with a 2.63 earned run average between two stops in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. In 1990, Neidlinger was called up by the Los Angeles Dodgers, going 5-3 with a 3.28 ERA in 12 games, all starts, picking up his first win against Hall of Famer Tom Glavine and the Atlanta Braves on Aug. 12. He retired in 1994 after four more seasons in Triple-A.
