As a Junior: Appeared in 29 games, making 17 starts ... recorded 14 hits and six RBIs ... totaled a season-best three hits in a 10-4 win over Caldwell on March 12 ... went 2-for-6 and drove in three runs during a 15-4 win at Norwich on April 19.

As a Sophomore: Appeared in 22 games, including 20 starts … finished second on the team in batting average (.288) and slugging percentage (.379) … recorded back-to-back 2-for-4 games in a doubleheader against Assumption on May 1.

As a Freshman: Attended the University of Vermont ... played club baseball and club ice hockey at UVM.

High School: Played three years of baseball and ice hockey and two years of soccer at Essex High School ... captained baseball and ice hockey teams as a senior ... a two-year first team All-Metro League selection in baseball, and a 2009 second team All-Metro League pick in ice hockey ... won three state titles: two in ice hockey (2006-07 and 2007-08) and one in baseball (2008) ... received the Essex High School 2009 Outstanding Male Athlete award.

Personal: Jacob Rollins Begnoche ... son of David and Stephanie Begnoche ... majoring in biology ... Dean's List qualifier ... a member of the Purple Knight Leadership Academy (PKLA) at SMC ... cousins Alan Laroche (basketball), Luke Laroche (soccer) and Ty Pratt (ice hockey/soccer) all played sports at Castleton State.
