As a Sophomore: Appeared in one game ... made collegiate debut with 2:45 of relief and did not face any shots against Southern Maine on Jan. 24.

As a Freshman: Not a member of the team.

High School: Attended Catholic Memorial High School for two years before graduating from Hingham High School in 2011 after two years at that school ... played a combined two years of varsity ice hockey and three years of varsity lacrosse at the two schools ... helped Hingham win 2010 MIAA Division 1A Super 8 Tournament with 1-0 victory over Catholic Memorial, his previous school, for Hingham's first state crown ... team MVP in both ice hockey and lacrosse as a senior ... helped lacrosse team reach state championship in 2010 ... after high school, played junior hockey with the Boston Warrior Tier 1 U-18 Midget AAA club and the Brockville Braves Tier 1 Junior A squad of the Central Canadian Hockey League (CCHL).

Personal: Derek Gonyea McInnis ... son of Michael and Karen McInnis ... majoring in business administration ... cousin Marty McInnis played 12 years in the NHL and was member of 1992 U.S. Olympic team.
