Honors: Spring 2011 NE-10 Commissioner’s Honor Roll

As a Junior: Appeared in all 26 games … finished sixth on team in scoring with 12 points (six goals and six assists) and third among juniors … tallied the game winning goal against Southern New Hampshire during 5-3 win on Jan. 10 … assisted on the game-winning goal against Salve Regina in overtime during the Saint Michael's Holiday Classic on Dec. 30 and against Franklin Pierce on Jan. 31 … finished with four multi-point games.

As a Sophomore: Appeared in 24 games ... tallied four goals and five assists ... finished the season with a point in each of his last five games ... scored first goal of the season in a 5-0 win over the University of New England on Nov. 20.

As a Freshman: Played in 14 games and tallied three assists … made first collegiate appearance against Wentworth at SMC Holiday Classic on Jan. 3 … tallied first points with two assists in 4-4 tie with New England College on Jan. 16.

Before SMC: Was a four-year ice hockey and lacrosse player at Tabor Academy ... played football for three seasons ... earned Most Improved Player award freshman year ... team captain senior year ... played junior hockey for the Valley Jr. Warriors of the Eastern Junior Hockey League.

Personal: Michael Marrion Jangro ... son of Robert and Jennifer Jangro ... majoring in business administration, and minoring in marketing ... father captained the Dartmouth hockey team ... grandfather, Joe, was an All-American hockey player at Boston College ... uncle, James Marrion, played lacrosse at Villanova ... uncle, Joe, played ice hockey at Dartmouth ...  brother, Robert, played ice hockey at Connecticut College ... sister, Constance, plays field hockey at Colby.
