As a Freshman: Attended Norwich University and played football and ice hockey ... appeared in one contest for the ice hockey team, which advanced to the NCAA Division III Tournament semifinals  ... went 30-for-35 on extra points for the football team.

Before SMC: Played four years of varsity baseball and ice hockey and two years of varsity football and soccer at BFA-Saint Albans ... two-year captain of the ice hockey team, was a Metro League All-Conference first team forward and Burlington Free Press Mr. Hockey in 2012 ... helped ice hockey team win 2012 Division I state championship team ... was Metro League All-Conference first team outside linebacker and kicker in 2012 ... was Metro League All-Conference designated hitter in 2011 and 2012 ... member of the National Honor Society, and was a Harvard Book Award and Scholar Athlete Award recipient.
