Before SMC: Played ice hockey at Centennial Secondary School, graduating in 2013 ... skated with the Grandview Steelers of the Pacific Junior Hockey League (PJHL) for one year before playing two years with the Melfort Mustangs of the Saskatchewan Junior Hockey League (SJHL) ... named Grandview's team MVP, top forward and top rookie, while grabbing PJHL Rookie of the Year honors in 2012-13 ... selected twice as the Melfort Mustangs' most dedicated player ... Melfort won the league championship in 2014-15.
