• Played for Black Rock FC (Mass.) of USL League 2 (USL2) during summer

As a Redshirt Freshman (2017)

• Made 11 of 12 appearances as a starter, including each of last 10
• 4 saves in 5-0 win over eventual NE10 Championship runner-up Bentley on Sept. 30 for first college win and shutout
• 8 saves in 2-1 loss vs. Southern Connecticut State on Oct. 4
• 2 saves in 2-1 win at Stonehill on Oct. 14
• Played for Black Rock FC (Mass.) of USL Premier Development League (PDL) during summer

As a Freshman (2016)

• Took a redshirt season while a member of Division I Bradley University's soccer program during fall semester before enrolling at Saint Michael's in spring
• Did not appear in any games
• Earned spot on Missouri Valley Conference (MVC) Honor Roll due to academic excellence

High School: Competed in four years of varsity soccer, three years of track & field and one year of football at Rice Memorial High School ... Vermont's Gatorade Player of the Year as a senior ... also as a senior, named National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) All-America, NSCAA Vermont State Player of the Year, and Burlington Free Press Player of the Year ... three-time Burlington Free Press All-State selection ... three-year captain ... helped Rice win Division II state championship as a junior and Division crown as a senior ... class president ... six-year captain of Nordic Soccer Club teams ... posted 0.56 GAA in 38 games for Nordic, helping team to top 25 regional ranking and top 50 national ranking ... helped Nordic win regional title ... selected for Region 1 Olympic Development Program international trip in 2016.

Personal: Leland Adrien Gazo ... son of Matthew and Beth Gazo ... majoring in political science ... father was a men's soccer assistant coach at Saint Michael's from 2008 to 2011, and played collegiately at Northern Vermont University-Johnson before going pro in England (played for Huddersfield Town, trained with Sheffield United) and with the Mobile Revelers of the United States Interregional Soccer League (USISL) ... mother was member of swimming & diving team at NVU-Johnson ... brother Louis plays soccer at the University of Vermont.
