Jefferson Hales returns to the Saint Michael's women's soccer coaching staff for his ninth season as an assistant coach in 2025.

Hales also began coaching with the Far Post Soccer Club for the 2024-25 season as head coach of the high school girls' club and an assistant of the girls' academy team. He has worked with the Vermont Olympic Development Program and the Nordic Soccer Club (2010-24), coaching U6, U8, and U10-U15 boys and U15-U19 girls. Hales holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) National "C" License and a United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeper Level 3 Diploma and attended the International Goalkeeping Coach Conference. Hales was previously co-founder and Director of Goalkeeper Development at Shock Sports.

The Teaneck, N.J., native played four years of soccer as a field player and goalkeeper at nearby Vermont State University Johnson, serving as captain his senior year in fall 2004.
