High School: Played soccer, basketball, and lacrosse at Saint Bernard School … one-year captain for all three sports … for soccer she was three-time All-State and All-Conference, two-time All-Norwich Bulletin, two-time MVP, one-time All-New London Day, and a record holder for most goals scored in a season as well as in a career … she was a two-time All-Conference player for basketball … four-time All-Conference, two-time All-New London Day, two-time MVP, and one-time All-Norwich Bulletin for lacrosse … helped the Southeast Soccer Club win the Connecticut State Cup championship in 2015 … member of the National Honor Society.

Personal: Kara Marie Bassett … daughter of Scott and Michele Bassett … majoring in English, minoring in education ... Dean's List student … eldest sister, Juliana, competed in women's cross country at Fairfield University.
